GENIO Silent System Essence — a Silent System for acoustic uprights, so that you play your own instrument through headphones.
A lever moves a mute rail in front of the hammers, the strings stay silent, and contactless optical sensors under the keys and at the pedals pass your playing to the sound engine — with 127 velocity steps, five touch curves and sensitivity adjustable key by key. Ten presets and 128 GM sounds, 256-note polyphony, two headphone sockets for teacher and pupil. The Essence has no MIDI port; it is not intended for recording into a computer.
