A good choice for a child who practises in earnest, for students who need an instrument at home, and for the teaching room.
120 cm is the upper limit of the home format: the strings are longer than on the compact models and the bass is noticeably fuller. Three pedals: the right holds the note, the left softens it, and the middle one lowers a strip of felt for quiet practice.
A satin surface is more practical than high gloss: fingerprints and window light show far less on it.
The piano stands against the wall and takes about 0.8 m² with the stool. At 54.5 cm deep it goes through an ordinary door. Do not stand it by the radiator or in the sun: swings in humidity put it out of tune. It weighs 220 kg, and above the ground floor only movers carry it. If you practise in the evening with neighbours behind the wall, a Silent System can be fitted and you play with headphones on the same keys.
