GEWA Metronom Pyramidenform — a mechanical metronome in a black plastic case, in the classic pyramid shape.
It runs without a battery: wind it, slide the weight along the pendulum, and the tempo is set. The click comes out of the mechanism and carries better beside an instrument than a loudspeaker does. It has no bell for the downbeat, so it counts evenly on without accenting the one. Footprint 13.2 × 12.2 cm, height 22.6 cm, weight 500 g — it sits on the piano and stays where it is put.
