German craftsmanship from the golden age of the concert upright. The August Förster 132 is a tall, hand-built instrument from a maker celebrated for warmth, color and a singing sustain that rewards expressive playing. Dating from around 1932, this pre-owned example is beautifully kept, its black cabinet brought to a deep high-gloss French polish that glows under the light. The full 132 cm height gives the bass real depth and authority, while the touch remains intimate and responsive. A characterful, soulful piano with genuine heritage. 132 cm, 85 keys, two pedals.
